The SVGW is the national professional organisation for water, gas and heat supply in Switzerland and contributes with its guidelines, vocational training, the exercise of state-relieving supervisory tasks, consulting services as well as the certification of products, companies and individuals to the safe and sustainable supply of drinking water, gas and heat.

To strengthen professional exchange within the industry and to ensure that members, partners and decision-makers remain well informed, involved and enthusiastic about the activities of the SVGW, we are looking for a customer-oriented and implementation-strong personality at our headquarters in Zurich for the

Customer and Member Support German-speaking Switzerland

Your challenge

• Active maintenance and strategic further development of the network with members, customers, professional partners and other associations
• Building sustainable relationships with relevant actors in the water, gas and heat industry
• Representation of the SVGW in regional associations and professional organisations of German-speaking Switzerland (e.g. wellmaster associations, regional professional associations, VIGW and other networks)
• Positioning the SVGW as a competent partner for technical, regulatory and organisational issues
• Design, organisation and further development of information events for decision-makers in the supply industry (e.g. politicians, management of supply companies)
• Development of a digital community platform for the supply industry

Your competence

• Education as an engineer (ETH or FH with business management further training), ideally in the field of supply engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental technology or comparable
• Several years of experience in marketing and project management
• Sales professional with understanding of technical infrastructures (water, gas, buildings)
• Communication and negotiation skills as well as a pronounced ability to recognise customer needs and act in a solution-oriented manner
• Entrepreneurial thinking with a focus on efficiency and customer benefit
