A cantonal public law institution, the CNP is tasked with leading the health policy of the canton of Neuchâtel in the field of mental health, in collaboration with partner institutions. The CNP aims to rehabilitate patients suffering from mental disorders by adopting an integrated and community psychiatry model; it implements public policies for the promotion and prevention of mental health; it acts as a reference centre in the field of professional training and research in psychiatry.
The Nursing Directorate is looking for a:
Nurse in the hospital pool

You hold a HES nursing diploma or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Swiss Red Cross. You wish to join a recognised institution specialising in mental health.
As a nurse in our hospital pool, you will need to demonstrate adaptability and flexibility as you will work within our hospital units across our three departments: adults, elderly, and children-adolescents (as needed).
As part of your role you will be required to:
- identify the patient’s needs and resources at the start of care intervention and develop care objectives and actions taking into account an overall therapeutic project
- manage acute and complex clinical situations with professionalism and empathy
- welcome and support people in situations of emotional and/or social crisis
- ensure precise and complete documentation of care interventions
The skills required for this position are as follows:
- HES nursing diploma or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Swiss Red Cross
- several years of experience in psychiatry would be an asset
- ability to work flexibly and adapt to different departments / types of schedules
- demonstrate analytical and synthesis skills
- proficiency in French, both written and spoken
Start date: 1 November 2026 or to be agreed
