Head of Finance & Controlling (Member of the Management Team)

Your Responsibilities

• You bear overall responsibility for the finance department and controlling
• You are responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• You prepare reports, contribution margin calculations, analyses as well as calculations and develop corresponding decision-making bases for the management team
• You are responsible for the budgeting process, prepare forecasts and contribute your financial expertise to strategy, budget and medium-term planning
• You manage and secure foreign currency management
• You are responsible for the ERP system and ensure its further development and efficient use
• You lead two employees and support them in daily operations
• You work closely with the CEO and the management team and actively contribute to business development
• You coordinate collaboration with the centrally organised HR and IT departments within the corporate group
• You actively participate in cross-departmental projects and strategy processes

Your Profile

• You have a business education at HF / FH level with a focus on finance and accounting or controlling. Alternatively, you hold the federal specialist certificate in finance and accounting and have further business training
• You have several years of experience in a responsible finance and controlling role, preferably in a trading company or manufacturing SME
• You have preferably gained leadership experience and know how to support employees professionally and personally
• Your confident German is complemented by very good English skills. French is a plus
• You have very good knowledge of BI tools and Excel. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage
• You act agilely, are assertive and quickly recognise connections
• You act pragmatically and are accustomed to communicating with different stakeholders
