On behalf of the Canton of Schwyz and the municipalities of Schwyz, komin provides professional services in the field of migration and integration. The focus of our work lies in advice and information, education, project and public relations work, as well as networking with municipal and cantonal partners. To strengthen our management team, we are looking for an experienced and committed leader from 1 March 2027 or by arrangement.

Your tasks as Department Head

• Strategic development of communication and public relations
• Responsibility for media work, online presence and external communication
• Leadership and professional support of employees in the areas of advice, projects and public relations
• Planning and implementation of information events and workshops
• Design, application and management of projects
• Collaboration and networking with contract municipalities and partner institutions

Your tasks as Deputy Executive Management

• Representation of the executive management in case of absence
• Co-responsibility for the operational overall management of the organisation
• Participation in strategic development and organisational development
• Budget and resource planning in cooperation with the executive management
• Leadership and development of employees
• Collaboration with the board and contract partners

Your profile

• University degree or comparable qualification in social work, social sciences, education, communication or related fields
• Leadership experience with personnel and budget responsibility, ideally in the non-profit or social sector
• Experience in project management and business administration knowledge
• Strategic thinking and organisational strength
• High social and communication competence
• Intercultural sensitivity as well as interest in integration, education and anti-discrimination topics
