About the job
What it's about:
To strengthen our Facility Management team, we are looking for a reliable, service-oriented, and independent individual who is committed to ensuring the smooth and well-maintained operation of our campus.
You ensure that our offices, communal areas, sanitary facilities, terraces, and event rooms are always clean, tidy, and ready for use. You take on a variety of tasks in daily facility operations – from cleaning and tidying up to preparing and supporting events, as well as setting up, redesigning, and dismantling rooms.
As a versatile and solution-oriented contact person, you independently recognise where action is needed, actively assist in day-to-day business, and coordinate minor repairs and external service providers as required.
Your tasks:
- Building operation & technical inspectionsYou ensure a safe, reliable, and smooth daily building operation. To do this, you carry out regular inspection rounds and check rooms, infrastructure, and technical facilities for function, safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness. You detect deviations early, document them, and initiate the necessary measures.
- Technical facility support & maintenanceYou have a strong technical understanding and manual skills. You identify and resolve minor technical faults, defects, and maintenance and repair work as independently as possible. This includes, for example, minor repairs, assembly work, fastenings, and adjustments to building and operational equipment. You are familiar with the basic interrelations of HVACSSE (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitary, sprinkler, and electrical) and can professionally assess, narrow down, and escalate technical anomalies accordingly. For more complex tasks, you accompany external specialist companies and ensure professional execution and follow-up checks. Training as a sprinkler technician is a plus.
- Workplace, room design & movesYou support internal moves, space adjustments, and workplace changes. You take on the shifting and assembly of furniture, the setup and redesign of rooms, as well as minor dismantling and adjustment work. You ensure a clean, efficient, and timely implementation.
- Event & operational supportYou assist in the preparation, setup, and clearance of our event and meeting areas. This includes assembly and disassembly work, provision of furniture and equipment, and ensuring operational requirements during events. You also approach short-term adjustments and special requests in a solution-oriented manner.
- Cleaning, order & property qualityYou ensure consistently high quality and a professional appearance standard of our offices, sanitary facilities, fitness centre, communal areas, event rooms, and outdoor areas. You perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks and ensure the execution of basic, special, and event cleaning. You detect quality deviations early and initiate appropriate measures if necessary.
- Material & inventory managementYou ensure the demand-oriented management of consumables, cleaning agents, event materials, spare parts, and other operating resources. You organise and structure storage areas, monitor stocks and availability, and ensure efficient and demand-oriented material management.
- Outdoor facilities & infrastructureYou undertake simple maintenance, inspection, and upkeep tasks outdoors as needed and, together with internal and external partners, ensure a well-maintained and functional condition of the surroundings.
- On-call duty, special tasks & operational flexibilityYou are willing to occasionally take on on-call, evening, or weekend shifts within the scope of building operations and events. You work flexibly, solution-oriented, and across teams and also support extraordinary operational requirements. You take responsibility, independently recognise the need for action, and ensure that tasks are completed reliably and to the expected quality.
What we expect:
- Completed training as a specialist in operational maintenance EFZ, caretaker, or a comparable practical training or corresponding professional experience.
- Professional experience in facility management, caretaking, building operations, or a comparable environment.
- Practical skills and enjoyment in tackling tasks independently and solution-oriented.
