Desired profile
- Lawyer’s licence, licentiate or master’s degree in law and sufficient practical knowledge to perform the office
- Experience in the area of the Justice of the Peace court according to Art. 58 JG is an advantage
- Voting rights in cantonal matters. Foreign nationals must hold a residence permit and have lived in the canton for at least five years. There must be no loss certificates against the persons. They must not have been criminally convicted of acts incompatible with the judicial office
- Fluency in French with good knowledge of German
