Job Description

• Coordination and management of daily operating room processes to ensure a smooth, economical and patient-oriented workflow
• Interface between the operating room team, anaesthesia, wards and medical staff
• Monitoring and optimisation of operating room utilisation
• Support in planning and prioritising operating room programmes
• Ensuring timely communication of changes in the operating room schedule
• Contributing to break cover in the theatre
• Assisting in the operating theatre with setup and instrumentation as needed
• Compliance with hygiene and asepsis guidelines
• Responsibility for correct operating room-specific documentation (operating room nursing documentation/performance recording)

Qualifications

• Certified nurse HF/FH OR certified specialist OT HF/FH with several years of professional experience, preferably in the attending physician system
• High flexibility, versatile expertise and the necessary understanding of various operating room techniques
• A responsible, service-oriented and resilient personality with great enthusiasm for their profession
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written
• Structured and solution-oriented working style
• Confident handling of common IT systems and operating room documentation software
• Organisational skills, assertiveness and sense of responsibility
