After a thorough induction phase, you will support our Engineering department as
Software Engineer HMI / Machine Controls (.NET/C#) (m/f/d | 80-100%)
Exciting, challenging and varied - your tasks
- Development and further development of modern user interfaces (HMI) for our machines and systems
- Analysis, maintenance and continuous optimisation of existing software solutions as well as the transformation of classic software architectures towards modern concepts
- Participation in the conception, architecture and implementation of new software features for our machine controls
- Engineering tasks in the environment of our machines and systems, e.g. implementation of technical functions, calculations and process sequences
- Further development of remote maintenance, diagnostic and automation systems
- Participation in the gradual modernisation of existing desktop applications and their future transfer to modern web-based concepts
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams from software development, automation, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering
Passionate about engineering - your profile
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, application development or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience with C#/.NET, SQL databases as well as modern software development tools and frameworks
- Experience in the development of user interfaces (ideally with DevExpress) for machines and systems, process control systems (SCADA) or comparable industrial applications is an advantage
- Knowledge of modern web technologies is an advantage and supports the gradual transition to future software concepts
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
- Team spirit, initiative and a strong willingness to learn
- Very good German and good English skills
- Enthusiasm for mechanical engineering, automation and technical challenges
