Your tasks
- Teaching fundamental moral theology, with the ability to take into account the tradition of virtue ethics; collaboration with the full professor of special moral theology and Christian social ethics; desired contribution in the field of spiritual theology
- Research in the aforementioned fields, within the Department of Moral Theology and Ethics of the Faculty
- Collaboration on interdisciplinary projects of the department and the Faculty
- Ability to teach both in person and online
Desired profile
- A doctorate in Catholic theology in the field of fundamental moral theology as well as a habilitation or a portfolio of recognised academic publications in the field of moral theology, equivalent to a habilitation thesis
- Extensive teaching experience
- A good knowledge of theology in the Dominican tradition is an asset
- At least passive knowledge of the German language (DELF B1 level), given the bilingual nature of the Faculty of Theology and the University of Fribourg, as well as sufficient knowledge of English
