Caretaker 100%The Kantonsschule Limmattal in Urdorf is a secondary school for the Knonauer Amt and Limmattal regions. It includes a long and short grammar school with all Matura profiles. The school currently has around 140 teachers, 35 staff in administration and operations, and around 900 pupils; an expansion to approximately 1,100 pupils is planned in the foreseeable future.
As of 1 September 2026 or by arrangement, the position of caretaker is to be newly filled.
Tasks
- Maintenance and upkeep of technical systems according to schedule
- General outdoor work (garden)
- General caretaker duties
- Services at events (also on weekends if required)
- Club service for sports hall operations
- On-call duty for technical malfunctions
- Winter service
- You ensure that the cantonal infrastructure of the school is always in impeccable and safe condition
Profile
- Completed vocational training as a specialist in operational maintenance, caretaker with a federal professional certificate is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience in the field of caretaking
- You enjoy working in a team and like interacting with young people
- You act ecologically and responsibly in the areas of energy, materials, and maintenance
- You see yourself as a service provider who proactively supports the educational daily routine and creates an environment where learning and teaching are enjoyable
