Team Leader: Technical Building Maintenance (100%)

About the job

The Sulzerpark in Oberwinterthur and "The Valley" in Kemptthal are two of the most exciting industrial and commercial areas in the region – established industrial architecture, lots of building technology, tenants from production, research and services. You are the person on site who knows the condition of the areas before anyone complains – and you lead a team of four employees and one to two apprentices.

What you do

Rounds & Property Inspection: Regular inspection rounds across both areas. You recognise faults early, assess them correctly and carry out minor tasks yourself immediately.

Building Technology Operation: You monitor and operate the building services systems, perform recurring checks and are the first point of contact in case of faults.

Supervising Craftsmen: You commission, instruct and supervise external companies on site – from briefing to acceptance.

Planning: You plan maintenance proactively – service appointments, inspections, measures – and document clearly what is pending and what has been completed.

Leadership: You plan the deployment of your team across both locations, set priorities and support our apprentices in their daily work.

Coordination: You are the contact person for tenants and property management and coordinate appointments and work so that operations continue smoothly.

Cleaning, winter services and green space maintenance are not included.

What you bring

Completed vocational training in a technical or craft field, ideally building technologyBuilding caretaker with a federal specialist certificate or willingness to obtain one – or several years of equivalent experienceExperience in technical building maintenance, ideally in industrial or commercial propertiesTechnical understanding across several trades and routine in dealing with craftsmenInitial leadership experience – or a clear desire to take the next stepIndependent, proactive working style, confident German, driving licence category BReadiness to participate in on-call duty
