Deployment from new home base

The Sihltal Zürich Uetliberg Railway SZU AG, as the market-responsible transport company for the Zimmerberg area, commissioned the new Zimmerbergbus garage in Wädenswil in March 2021. It offers space for over 60 large vehicles, a washing facility, and a repair workshop under one roof. The construction of the "Gewerbehaus Rütihof Wädenswil", which also houses the bus garage, took 26 months. Construction of the approximately 14,000 m2 area began in January 2019. SZU shares this area with Huber Getränkehandlung AG and the Gaswerk AG climbing centre.

The design of the bus garage and the site development is based on our 2016 concept. As planners, we are very pleased to recognise many design elements in the completed building (see film). asa warmly congratulates the project team on the opening of the Gewerbehaus! See the asa reference project
