Co-camp Leader

About the job

The Coup d’Pouce Foundation has been active for 25 years in leisure activities and support for people with a disability and/or autism spectrum disorders.

La Cabane Orange is a leisure centre specialised in welcoming people with autism spectrum disorder. A summer camp is organised every year in French-speaking Switzerland.

The group consists of 14 children/adolescents with autism spectrum disorder accompanied by 1 leader, 1 co-leader, 14 instructors, 1 cook, 1 assistant cook.

In this context, we are looking for a co-leader to join our team during the camp.

Your role

As co-camp leader, you support the leader in:

• planning and organising the camp
• ensuring the smooth running of activities
• coordinating the team
• managing the safety and educational framework

You ensure the well-being of the participants as well as the quality of the support provided. In the event of the leader’s prolonged absence, you will be required to take charge of the camp.

Engagement period

• From 10 to 18 July 2025 – camp with children and adolescents

Presence also required:

• 20 June 2026 for a training day "How to organise leisure activities for people with autism?"
• 27 June 2026 for a preparation day

Profile sought

• Training in the social field
• Solid experience in supporting people with autism spectrum disorder
• Autonomy, rigour and sense of responsibility
• Good organisational, communication and team management skills
• Administrative skills
• Driving licence (desired)
