Junior Building Consultant / Heritage Conservation

Do you have a passion for significant buildings that tell their very own special story – from the Romanesque church to the theatre from the 1970s? And would you like to work in practical heritage conservation? The cantonal heritage conservation office is looking for a Junior Building Consultant to support the building consultancy business immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Supporting the building consultants in day-to-day business
• Handling correspondence, organising appointments, ensuring appropriate response times
• Completing work documentation and compiling decision-making bases
• Taking over holiday cover for individual building consultants
• Managing grant cases
• Gradually taking on certain cases independently in the assigned area

Your profile

• Completed training in architecture, art or architectural history
• First experience with heritage conservation issues through internships or professional activity
• Interest in mediation and negotiation work in exchange with owners, municipalities and specialists
• Great commitment and conflict management skills
• Communicative and goal-oriented
