The Nexus Group is a fast-growing, technology-driven corporate group focused on digitalisation and artificial intelligence. With our subsidiaries Startups.ch AG and Findea AG, we support Swiss entrepreneurs in the areas of company formation, accounting, fiduciary services, taxes, and payroll.

For our finance team, we are looking for a technically inclined, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial-minded individual. The position reports directly to the CFO and offers broad insight into finance, corporate management, and the further development of our processes.

Our mission for this role: As little manual accounting and administration as possible.

You reliably execute existing finance processes, understand them in detail, and consistently develop them further with AI and modern tools. Repetitive tasks should be automated as much as possible. Your role will increasingly shift from manual execution to managing, controlling, and reviewing automated processes.

Your tasks

• Responsibility for operational finance processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment transactions, cash management, and payroll

• Participation in monthly and annual financial statements including preparation of consolidation and group accounts

• Preparation of periodic reports such as VAT, withholding tax, and withholding tax on dividends

• Automation of repetitive accounting and administrative processes

• Review and quality control of automated bookings, evaluations, and reports

• Further development of our finance tools, reports, and processes

• Participation in internal finance, digitalisation, and AI projects

As long as a process is not yet automated, you execute it reliably. At the same time, you consider how we can do it better, faster, and as automatically as possible tomorrow.

You bring

• A completed bachelor’s degree with a business administration background

• Very confident and productive use of artificial intelligence

• High technical affinity and enthusiasm for new tools

• Very strong quality and attention to detail

• Analytical, structured, and independent working style

• Entrepreneurial thinking and good understanding of business contexts

• High commitment and enjoyment of a performance-oriented environment

• Very good German and English skills

Your ability to quickly and independently familiarise yourself with new topics using AI is more important to us than many years of professional experience.

Advantageous

• Experience in finance and accounting

• Knowledge of Swiss accounting according to CO

• Experience with automation, AI workflows, or low-code/no-code tools and Vibe Coding

• Experience with Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, or comparable tools

• Experience with accounting systems
