Job Description

You will be involved in the entire data lifecycle, including:

• Analysing and documenting data from various sources and existing systems.
• Designing and evolving data models: conceptual, logical, physical and dimensional.
• Participating in data migration and integration projects.
• Designing and implementing Data Foundations.
• Conducting exploratory analyses: profiling, volume, completeness, anomalies, consistency.
• Writing functional specifications for data flows: source/target mappings, transformation rules and edge cases.
• Collaborating with Data/Engineering teams on the design and implementation of flows.
• Producing analyses, indicators and dashboards to meet business needs.
• Contributing to data quality, governance, documentation and lineage.
• Maintaining and enriching the data catalogue.
• Supporting users and contributing to the formalisation of requirements.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years minimum experience in Data / BI / Data Analysis fields.
• Expertise in Data Modelling.
• Practical experience in data migration.
• Experience in designing or implementing Data platforms.
• Excellent command of advanced SQL: complex queries, multi-source joins, aggregations.
• Proficiency in a BI / Data Visualisation tool: Power BI or Qlik.
• Good understanding of ETL / Data Warehouse architectures.
• Knowledge of MDM and data repository concepts.
• Ability to write functional specifications and formalise transformation rules.
• Good understanding of Data Quality issues.
• Excellent oral communication in French.
• Ability to be autonomous and proactive.

Appreciated skills

• Experience with Data Virtualisation, Data Catalog / Data Lineage, Data Quality solutions.
• Good statistical knowledge.
• Experience in test engineering.
• Experience in training and supporting users.
