Automation Technician for Electrical Wiring of Diesel Engines with Prototype Development

• In this exciting position, you are responsible for the electrical wiring of diesel engines and emergency power generators. You will work with engines up to 623 kW and nominal voltages up to 380 V. You will conventionally manufacture control boxes and smaller control units and carry out electrical as well as electronic diagnostics on diesel engines and emergency power generators. During test runs, you will perform adjustment and testing work and create acceptance protocols.
• Occasionally, you will be active on external assignments, especially accompanying on-site commissioning. The focus of your work is currently on prototype development, with series production only rarely required.

• Completed training in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
• Experience in electrical wiring and installation of diesel engines and emergency power generators
• Knowledge in the manufacture of control units and control boxes
• Experience in carrying out diagnostics and repairs on electrical and electronic components
• Independent working style as well as ability to work in a team
• Willingness for occasional external assignments and on-site commissioning
• Experience in prototype manufacturing is an advantage
• Knowledge in programming systems as well as in assembly and wiring is desirable
• Additional knowledge in electrical power distribution, pneumatics, and switchgear construction is advantageous
