The Migration Department supports refugees in creating perspectives. Services include accommodation, support within the framework of social assistance, as well as assistance with linguistic and professional integration. They enable refugees in the Canton of Bern to have a professional perspective and thus contribute to their sustainable integration and to more humanity in the Canton of Bern.

The Employment Placement and Coaching area accompanies clients with S status on their way into the labour market. For our Zollikofen location, we are looking for a committed, strong leadership and empathetic personality as:

Co-Team Leader Employment Placement and Coaching, 80-100%

Your tasks

Leadership and collaboration

• You take over the professional and personnel responsibility for the seven committed employees at the Zollikofen location.
• You regularly coordinate with your co-team leader at the Biel location and share the overall financial responsibility of the team.
• As a member of the management team in the Employment Placement and Coaching area, you shape strategic and operational topics and contribute your ideas.
• You ensure effective process and quality management and continuously develop procedures and tools.
• You maintain and expand regional networks with companies, associations and educational institutions.

Employment Placement & Coaching

• You conduct initial interviews with clients, identify potentials and ensure a tailored allocation to the job coaches.
• As a professional contact person, you competently support your employees and promote a professional, impact-oriented coaching culture.
• You moderate specialist meetings and encourage active knowledge and experience exchange.
• With commitment, you acquire trial placements, internships as well as training and jobs in the primary labour market.
• You keep an overview of administration, controlling and reporting and ensure their quality.

Your profile

• You have completed vocational training and ideally have experience in personnel placement, as an RAV advisor or in job coaching.
• You are networked with companies in the Bernese Mittelland region – or motivated to quickly build a network.
• You communicate confidently in German (native language).
• You have experience in leading teams and know how to motivate and develop people.
• You work independently, flexibly and keep an overview in a dynamic environment.
• With your strong communication skills, you appear appropriately and convincingly to the target audience.
• You know the Bernese labour market as well as the education system.
• You have knowledge of the asylum and refugee sector.
• You bring further training in coaching, business administration or process management.
