The State and Youth Prosecutor's Office is responsible for all criminal proceedings involving crimes, misdemeanors, and violations. Its responsibilities include, among others, the prosecution and assessment as well as the enforcement of imposed sanctions on juvenile offenders in the canton of Glarus.
We are looking for a
Social Worker Youth Prosecutor's Office 40–50 %
starting December 1, 2025, or by arrangement, with the workplace in Glarus and the possibility of flexible working hours.
Tasks
- Clarification of the personal circumstances of the youth
- Enforcement of protective measures and penalties
- Taking over personal supervision
- Monitoring of outpatient treatments
- Accompanying the youth during placements
Requirements
- Training as a social worker (Bachelor of Science FHO in Social Work or equivalent training)
- Professional experience in youth or criminal justice desired
- High social competence, empathy, and ability to work in a team
- Independence, resilience, and assertiveness
