You will oversee the implementation of technical fire protection systems within the scope of major investment projects and work closely with engineering teams, external partners, and contractors to ensure a safe, compliant, and successful project execution.

Requirements:
- Participation in the development and implementation of fire protection concepts for investment projects.
- Coordination with architects, engineering partners, fire protection experts, contractors, and internal contacts.
- Technical support of fire protection systems, including sprinkler, spray flood, and dry extinguishing systems as well as fire water networks and fire water retention systems.
- Management of external contractors and suppliers while adhering to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Participation in 3D design reviews and coordination of technical solutions with the involved engineering teams.
- Coordination of commissioning, functional tests, integrated system tests, and technical approvals.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable fire protection regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
- Review of technical documentation and coordination of the handover of completed systems to operations.
- Support of further engineering activities within the CAPEX team as needed.
Competences:
- Completed studies in mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
- Approximately 5–10 years of experience in engineering or project management, ideally in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, or industrial sector.
- Solid technical experience in fire protection systems as well as knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, especially VKF and SES.
- Good knowledge in assessing fire risks and selecting appropriate extinguishing technologies.
- Experience in coordinating contractors, engineering partners, and interdisciplinary project teams.
- Practical experience with commissioning, functional tests, and technical approvals.
- Knowledge of GMP-regulated environments or cleanrooms is an advantage.
- A VKF certification, especially as a Specialist for Water Extinguishing Systems VKF, is a great advantage.
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style as well as strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, are mandatory. English skills are an advantage, French skills are a plus.
