About the job
Your Tasks
You are responsible for the five-member ZEBAM team and coordinate the processing as well as the dispatch of report requests and invoice rejections from the insurers. You take on the role of contact person for all matters of rejection management in the inpatient and outpatient sectors. In close cooperation with Medical Coding, you contribute to the optimization of medical and nursing documentation with regard to its completeness. In addition, you support the coding management in the preparation and implementation of coding audits. In doing so, you take on an important interface function between Medical Coding, internal service providers (physicians, nursing, etc.), and external service providers (insurers and canton).
Your Profile
To successfully master this demanding task, you have leadership experience as well as several years of practical coding experience in all medical specialties, enabling you to work independently from the start. Ideally, you hold the Swiss Federal Certificate "Medical Coding." Professional experience in the health insurance sector is an advantage.
You are characterized by an independent, responsible, structured, and precise way of working and are able to quickly grasp complex issues and assess them thoroughly. High integrity and pronounced social skills are among your strengths. In addition, you have a confident handling of MS Office as well as common clinical information systems.
