Geomatics technicians measure and document land, buildings, and everything on or beneath the ground using various sensors such as total stations, GNSS, drones, 3D laser scanners, etc. The spatial information or geodata collected in the field is calculated, analyzed, and further processed in the office. The geodata is visualized on the computer using special software (GIS, CAD, BIM, etc.) to create 3D models, plans, maps, and other products.

School education: 10 weeks of block courses per apprenticeship year at the Construction Trade Vocational School Zurich BBZ

BMS: with very good school performance, the vocational baccalaureate school can be attended during basic training.
