For our client, a global plastics manufacturing company based in Sissach, we are looking immediately for a Try & Hire

Maintenance Mechanic 100%

• Carrying out maintenance, servicing and repair work along the entire compounding line – from raw material supply through dosing and conveying technology to the co-kneader as well as the bagging and packaging equipment
• Analysing and rectifying mechanical faults during ongoing production operations
• Systematic fault finding and root cause analysis as well as sustainable elimination of recurring faults
• Dismantling, assembling and professional repair of mechanical assemblies
• Carrying out maintenance and repair work on pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Assisting with plant conversions, expansions, optimisations and commissioning
• Supporting the creation and further development of maintenance plans as well as careful documentation of faults and repairs carried out
• Participation in the on-call service on a rotation of about four weeks

• Completed training as a maintenance or industrial mechanic, polymechanic, production mechanic, mechanic or a comparable mechanical qualification
• Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering and control technology
• Good German language skills in spoken and written form, at least level B2, mandatory 
• Strong mechanical understanding as well as manual dexterity
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
