The Wallis Hospital is seeking for the Upper Valais Hospital Centre in the Psychiatry Centre Upper Valais in the Occupational and Special Therapy Department a:
Ward Manager Occupational and Special Therapy 80-100%
Your tasks:
- Responsible for the professional area, as well as leadership, coordination and organisation
- Responsible for personnel development, controlling and administrative tasks
- Ensuring and expanding the high quality in psychiatry through active coaching, as well as systematic evaluation and control of the services provided
- Supporting and accompanying employees within the framework of reference work
- Promoting good interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration
- Participation in internal clinical projects
Your profile:
- Several years of experience as a qualified occupational therapist or work pedagogue with a focus on psychiatry
- High professional and social competence
- Initiative, committed, resilient and goal-oriented personality with pronounced organisational talent and assertiveness
- A high level of communication and teamwork skills
- Confident handling of IT
- Existing CAS leadership training or willingness to complete such training
