Task
We are looking for IGSU ambassadors on an hourly wage. Become an IGSU employee forawareness campaigns.
As an IGSU ambassador, you raise awareness among your fellow human beings that littering is not an option (no
member recruitment, fundraising or the like). You participate in workshops at schools, at
events such as festivals and/or at various actions in public spaces against littering.
You choose yourself which type of assignments you want to participate in in the German-speaking part of Switzerland and
can organize your work schedule flexibly.
Requirements
As a future ambassador you should...• prefer a friendly and humorous way of raising awareness
• be communicative, creative and articulate
• approach strangers with your sympathetic and positive charisma
• bring endurance, perseverance, persistence and humor
• have interest and basic knowledge in environmental topics
• be of legal age and have a residence in Switzerland
• be willing to work at different locations in your language region
• be fit enough to be on foot all day long
• have some professional experience
• be able to maintain a professional approach with a wide variety of partners and customers

• from CHF 25.- gross per hour (not commission-based)
• partial reimbursement of travel expenses and, depending on the assignment, also preparation time
• bonus system (not based on performance per assignment)
• general working hours from 11:00 to 17:00 – including paid break
• solid introduction to the job – training time is financially compensated if employment is established
• season from March to October with regular deployment opportunities Wed-Sat (possible
assignments in November and December)
• team events and exchange: visit to recycling plant, summer party, winter event,
feedback opportunities
• possibility of additional tasks depending on interest, skills and experience
• uncomplicated cooperation with the office team
