The Reformed Church Community Zurich is the largest church community in Switzerland by membership. It reaches a wide range of people throughout the city with its offerings and is there for the needs of very different people with its innovative forms of church life. 

Zytlos is an independent institution within the Reformed Church Zurich. With its café, which is run by external operators after the renovation, and diverse formats, it offers an inspiring place of encounter and community where people from very different walks of life are welcome. The offerings create experiential spaces for a contemporary, everyday spirituality.
 

To complement our team, we are looking for a committed and innovative person by arrangement

Pastor

who takes over the theological leadership of Zytlos.

Your tasks

• Theological leadership of Zytlos and content responsibility for the spiritual orientation
• Promotion of an everyday, contemporary spirituality
• Open ear and pastoral care for the diverse visitors
• Participation in the implementation of existing formats and development of new ideas
• Exchange with the operational and strategic management of Zytlos
• Maintaining participatory processes
• Networking within the church community and in Church District 2
• Accompanying and co-designing the transition and renovation phase (provisional 2027, reopening and reconstruction planned Q1/2028)

• Independent, conceptual way of working and openness to change processes
• Master's degree in theology or equivalent qualification
