For one of our main partners in the canton of Fribourg, we are looking for a technical office manager with solid experience in civil engineering who wishes to lead a team composed of engineers, draftsmen, and builders.

Your responsibilities:
- Ensure the technical leadership and development of a team composed of civil engineers, draftsmen, and builders
- Organise, plan, and coordinate the activities of the technical office
- Distribute projects and various tasks within the team according to skills and priorities
- Support and assist colleagues in resolving complex technical issues
- Participate in the development of technical solutions and execution methods adapted to different projects
- Provide your technical expertise during the study, calculation, and preparation phases of projects
- Monitor ongoing projects and control the progress of planning work
- Ensure the quality of calculations, technical studies, and plans produced by the team
- Ensure compliance with standards, quality benchmarks, and regulatory requirements applicable in Switzerland
- Maintain close coordination with various internal departments, notably project management, sales teams, and operational services
- Actively participate in technical meetings and exchanges between different specialists
- Carry out occasional checks to guarantee the quality and conformity of completed work
- Identify opportunities to improve working methods and internal processes
- Actively participate in the digitalisation of the technical office and the integration of new technologies
- Contribute to the development of the technical and human skills of your team members
- Civil engineering degree obtained from a University of Applied Sciences, ETH, or university, or equivalent training
- Specialisation ideally oriented towards structures or construction
- At least five years of professional experience in planning and executing construction projects
- Solid experience in managing technically demanding projects
- Initial experience in team leadership or strong motivation to evolve towards a managerial role
- Very good knowledge of construction practices in Switzerland
- Good command of the main SIA standards applicable to your field of activity
- Strong skills in calculation, design, and technical analysis
- Good command of technical software used in the construction field
- Experience with Tekla Structures, Cubus, or comparable tools is an advantage
- Knowledge of BIM is also a plus
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Analytical mind and strong solution orientation
- Ability to make decisions and assume responsibilities
- Authentic and communicative personality, capable of uniting a team
- Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to actively participate in the company’s development
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders
