What to expect
* You handle complex claims cases in the field of property insurance, including commercial and industrial sectors
* You inspect claim sites on location (mainly Basel city & agglomeration/Fricktal). Additionally, you assess cases via video expertise and work closely with experts
* You are responsible for reviewing and assessing coverage and liability issues as well as the extent of damage
* You initiate immediate measures, review and conduct recourse claims
* You maintain personal, telephone and written contact with policyholders and their representatives, service providers, contract providers, craftsmen as well as internal departments
* You have the opportunity to contribute in working groups, training sessions and projects
What you bring
* You have a commercial education in the insurance industry
* You hold a qualification as an insurance specialist with a federal certificate or a diploma in insurance management HF
* You have very good knowledge and several years of experience in property insurance/liability law and ideally have already gained experience in claims field service
* You have a good understanding of technical contexts, especially in building technology
* You are an organisational talent, flexible, have good negotiation skills and assertiveness
* Furthermore, you are committed, resilient and service-oriented
* Your profile is rounded off with good IT user skills
* Your residence in the area of activity and good French language skills are a plus
