• Moderation of complex root cause analyses with internal and external stakeholders and sustainable anchoring of lessons learned with suppliers
• Independent management and prioritisation of quality-critical issues across multiple projects
• Sustainable development of suppliers regarding quality performance, maturity level, and process capability
• Independent planning and execution of progress and quality assessments at international suppliers including derivation and consistent follow-up of measures
• Interface between project, engineering, purchasing, and suppliers on an equal footing (internal main stakeholders: engineering, project quality management, and category management)
• Coordination of periodic supplier evaluations and derivation of effective development measures
• Confident management of various internal and external stakeholders, even in challenging situations
• Preparation of inspection reports, statistics, and evaluations
• Business trips (up to 20-30%)

• Several years of experience in independent management of suppliers in an industrial environment
• At least 8 years of professional experience in rail vehicle or plant construction, preferably in supplier management / supplier quality / project quality management
• Successfully completed higher education (advanced technical college, university of applied sciences, or university)
• Sound knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes, practical experience in structured problem solving and problem management (e.g. 8D methodology)
• Further training as an auditor according to DIN 9001 is required, knowledge of DIN EN ISO 22163 is an advantage
• Strong analytical thinking skills as well as a structured and independent working style
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written (business fluent)
• Confident use of SAP / Ivalua is an advantage
