Civil Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF95,000 - 100,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a specialist as a Civil Engineer Structural Engineering for diverse tasks in the design and realisation of demanding structural projects. You will develop static, structural and execution-oriented solutions together with experienced project managers and accompany construction projects from planning to implementation. In addition to structural planning, you will increasingly take on tasks in project coordination and site management and work closely with architecture, specialist planning and executing companies. This position is particularly suitable for civil engineers who want to deepen their expertise in structural engineering in a practical way and gradually take on more project responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Participation in the design and realisation of projects in structural engineering
Development of structural concepts and constructive solutions for demanding construction projects
Execution of static calculations, dimensioning and load-bearing capacity verifications
Handling of structures in reinforced concrete, steel and other structural construction methods
Creation and review of formwork, reinforcement and construction basics
Technical processing of projects through the relevant SIA planning phases
Coordination with architects, specialist planners and executing companies
Participation in tenders, technical specifications and contractor awards
Taking on tasks in site management and execution control
Review of execution details, contractor documents and technical proofs
Conducting site inspections and quality checks
Gradual assumption of design and project management responsibility
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a Civil Engineer ETH or FH
Solid fundamentals in structural analysis, structural planning and structural engineering
Entry-level or initial professional experience in structural design
Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards and dimensioning principles
Knowledge of industry-standard structural analysis and calculation software is an advantage
Interest in design, site management and practical execution
Good German language skills spoken and written
