JOB DESCRIPTION
For GFT Switzerland AG, we are seeking an experienced individual as Guidewire Lead Business Analyst to support our clients in the successful implementation of complex Guidewire implementation and integration projects for customers in the insurance industry.
In this role, you analyse and structure business requirements, translate business needs into concrete solution requirements, and work closely with Product Owners, Business Experts, Solution Architects, and technical teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business and Requirements Analysis:
- Analyse and evaluate business requirements in the insurance environment.
- Gather, document, and consolidate business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into structured requirement definitions for the Guidewire platform.
- Support prioritisation of requirements and definition of solution approaches.
- Conduct gap analyses between existing business processes and future Guidewire solutions.
Workshops and Stakeholder Management:
- Prepare and conduct workshops with business units, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
- Moderate discussions to clarify and validate requirements.
- Document and present results.
- Work closely with Business Experts, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and technical teams.
Project Support:
- Ensure clear communication between business and IT.
- Support effort estimations and planning of implementation activities.
- Assist with testing, acceptance, and introduction of new functionalities.
PROFILE
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance environment.
- Solid knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter.
- A Guidewire certification is required.
- Excellent knowledge of insurance processes and their representation in IT systems.
- Experience in conducting workshops and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
