DevOps Engineer (Contract) - Fribourg Region

Our client is a leading company in the telecommunications sector in Switzerland, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge B2B solutions. To strengthen their established team, we are looking for a committed professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for end-to-end software delivery.

In this role, you will join a highly collaborative team that designs, builds, and operates advanced billing solutions for Swiss business customers. You will work closely with stakeholders across a scaled-agile setup and take responsibility for the full lifecycle of features - from design and development to deployment and operations.

Your responsibilities

• Design, build and operate new functionalities for a B2B billing platform

• Develop and optimize backend services in Java/Spring Boot with SQL/PostgreSQL

• Implement user-friendly frontend elements in React

• Ensure engineering quality with CI/CD practices, Git workflows, and code reviews

• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot in a container-based environment (Docker)

Your profile
You bring strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, SQL/PostgreSQL, and have solid knowledge of CI/CD, Git and agile methodologies. Experience with GraphQL or modern frontend frameworks such as React is a plus. Excellent English skills (C1) are required, French or German would be an advantage.
