Kitchen Republic combines various food concepts from the Wiesner Gastronomy AG family. With just one order, guests can select their favourite dishes online from different restaurants. In the vibrant Steinfels area in Zurich-West, the team not only takes care of guests on site but also handles take-away and delivery orders from the food brands Negishi Urban Sushi, Nooch Asian Kitchen, Poke Nation, The Dumpling Brothers, Angry Chicken and The Butcher.

Our training is aimed at everyone who wants to learn the art of sushi and secure their future as a sushi chef. 🔮

During the two years of training, you will gain the necessary know-how and valuable experience to gradually approach the perfection of a Japanese sushi master.

Afterwards, you can launch your career as a sushi chef with us! 🚀

Structure of the training:

• Practical training in several stages 🔪

• Theoretical modules on topics such as product knowledge, sushi preparation and fish processing 📖

• Practical and theoretical exams 📝

• Focus on solid basic knowledge and perfection 🧠

• Preparation for the diverse world of Japanese cuisine 🌟

Your varied tasks:

• Preparing the mise en place for sushi production 🍣

• Preparing various sushi and sushi platters 🎨

• Ordering fish and vegetables according to internal guidelines 🛒

• Checking incoming goods 🔍

• Adhering to the hygiene concept according to HACCP 🧼

Your talents & experience:

• Interest and passion for Japanese cuisine ❤️

• At least 2 years of experience in the kitchen 🔪

• Good German language skills 🇩🇪

• Valid work permit for Switzerland 📄

• Flexibility (night shifts and weekend work) 🕒

👥 Personal: friendly, customer-oriented, team player, well-groomed appearance.

📌 Interest in Japanese culture and basic IT skills are an advantage. 🙂
