- You conduct independent histological examinations across a broad diagnostic spectrum and, with the appropriate qualifications, also work in cytology and molecular pathology
- You contribute your expertise in tumour boards, case discussions, and regular exchanges with our clinical departments as well as other institutes
- You are committed to training and further education, supervise assistant doctors, and actively share your specialist knowledge
This is what you bring
- A specialist title in pathology or an equivalent qualification recognised by the BAG and solid experience in pathology, including autopsies, macroscopy, and histology, ideally complemented by cytology and molecular pathology
- Decisiveness and willingness to take responsibility, lead a team, clearly represent professional assessments, and deliberately involve the expertise of colleagues
- Strong communication skills – you present findings clearly, precisely, and appropriately for the audience, both in writing and in direct exchange with the clinical departments
- Interest in digital and diagnostic developments as well as the willingness to embrace innovations and actively help shape their implementation in the institute
