Lawyer in Unemployment Insurance (m/f/d)
from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement- Handling demanding legal issues regarding employability and reasonableness of work and pre-registration of short-time work and bad weather compensation
- Processing complex objections against decisions and rulings of the unemployment insurance
- Representing the unemployment insurance in appeal proceedings before the insurance court
- Supporting the head of KAST in the implementation of AVIG
- Processing official and legal assistance requests as well as responding to data protection and file inspection requests
- Conducting supervisory procedures
- Participating in internal training of unemployment insurance staff
- Completed university degree in law (MLaw, lic.iur.)
- Professional experience in procedural law; preferably experience in public administration with a focus on social insurance law
- Interest in political and economic affairs
- High commitment, resilience, and efficient working style
- Independent work and scope for design within the role
- Thorough induction in a competent team
