Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the management of complex HVAC and building technology projects with a focus on laboratory, industrial, and commercial buildings. You will develop innovative technical overall concepts for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and sanitation and be responsible for their planning and implementation with particular consideration of energy efficiency and sustainability. In addition to project management, you will take on the technical leadership of interdisciplinary teams and advise clients on technically demanding building technology solutions. In this senior role, you will also contribute to the acquisition and further development of the specialist department as well as the digitalisation of planning processes.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the planning and management of complex HVAC projects across the relevant SIA phases
Development of integral building technology and energy concepts for laboratory, industrial, and commercial buildings
Design and optimisation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and sanitation systems with regard to energy efficiency, operational safety, and life cycle costs
Responsibility for professional schedule, cost, quality, and project controlling as well as early management of deviations
Leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary project teams as well as technical management of the involved building technology disciplines
Ensuring technical interfaces between HVAC, building automation, electrical, architecture, and other specialist planning
Technical support and further development of project managers, engineers, and planners within the team
Advising clients and principals on sustainable building technology, energy, and system concepts
Use and further development of BIM and digital planning methods to optimise planning, coordination, and project processes
Support of tendering, awarding, specialist site management, commissioning, and acceptance of technically demanding systems
Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, energy requirements, and Swiss building technology standards
Active participation in acquisition, proposal preparation, and client development as well as in the strategic further development of the specialist department
Qualifications:
Degree as FH/ETH Engineer in Building Technology or Dipl. Technician HF Building Technology specialising in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitation, or comparable qualification
Several years of solid experience in project management of complex HVAC projects, ideally in laboratory, industrial, or commercial construction
Sound knowledge of integral building technology, energy efficiency, and sustainable system concepts
Experience in cost, schedule, and quality management as well as tendering, realisation, and commissioning
Experience in technical leadership of interdisciplinary planning teams
Knowledge of BIM and digital planning and coordination processes as well as relevant SIA standards
Very good German language skills spoken and written
