Project Management Strategic Construction Projects 70-80% (m/f/d)
You take overall responsibility for the strategic planning and preparatory phase of the two major future projects of Pilatus-Bahnen AG: the replacement of the gondola lift Kriens – Krienseregg – Fräkmüntegg and the renovation of the Hotel Bellevue. In this key role, you lay the foundations for the successful realisation of both projects and represent them to internal and external stakeholders.
This is what you can achieve
Strategic Project Leadership
- Overall management of the strategic planning and development phase of both major projects in close cooperation with the executive management
- Ensuring a targeted project organisation and governance
- Preparation of investment and fundamental decisions for the executive management and board of directors
Project Coordination and Administration
- Leadership and control of external specialist planners, experts, architects and other involved parties
- Establishment and implementation of professional project administration including scheduling coordination
- Schedule, resource, cost and risk management
- Organisation, leadership and documentation of project and steering committee meetings
Stakeholder and Authority Management
- Contact person for authorities, municipalities, cantonal offices, associations and other public institutions
- Coordination of approval and permit processes
- Early identification and moderation of conflicts of interest
Communication and Representation
- Strategic planning of communication and representation towards various stakeholders in cooperation with the CEO
- Preparation and execution of information events and presentations
- Creation of communication materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Conveying complex matters in an understandable and convincing manner
This is what sets you apart
- Several years of experience in managing complex projects, preferably infrastructure or construction projects (with proven success)
- Strong communication skills and experience in stakeholder management
- Distinct organisational and administrative abilities
- High social competence as well as diplomatic skill in dealing with diverse stakeholders
- Confident demeanour and convincing communication skills
- Entrepreneurial thinking and a strong sense of responsibility
- Experience in tourism, infrastructure, mountain railways, real estate or hotel projects is an advantage
