ICT Supporter
Office for Industry, Trade and Labour | 80–100 % | Chur
The Office for Industry, Trade and Labour (KIGA) currently employs around 135 staff in six regions in the canton of Graubünden. In addition to public employment services (RAV), we organise labour market measures for job seekers and manage the cantonal unemployment fund. Furthermore, we carry out various tasks in the areas of labour market and occupational safety.
We are looking for an ICT Supporter and Course Instructor (80-100 %) for the Labour Market Measures department. Start date by arrangement.
Your area of responsibility
- Professional support and assistance for employees in 1st and 2nd level support for all IT concerns
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of client hardware as well as setting up modern IT workstations
- Responsibility for procurement, management and lifecycle management of hardware and software (including orders, licence management and inventory control)
- Packaging and rollout of software packages
- Operation, maintenance and optimisation of the training environment
- Support and guidance of job seekers during SIZ user training
- Documentation of course participation from entry to exit and reporting to the referring agencies (RAV, disability insurance, social services)
- Cross-departmental assumption of the role of deputy power user
What we expect from you
- A completed education or further training in computer science as well as solid professional experience in IT support and technical application operation
- Sound knowledge of the Windows client/server environment and ideally experience with common automation tools
- Initial experience or exposure to the Microsoft 365 environment (SharePoint, MS Teams) as well as Azure is a great plus but not a must-have
- Independent, networked and analytical thinking as well as a structured, reliable and team-oriented working style
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written. Knowledge of a second cantonal language or other languages is a plus and facilitates communication in a diverse environment
- Driving licence category B and willingness to occasionally work at other locations in the canton of Graubünden
