The city of Illnau-Effretikon - located between Winterthur and Zurich - offers attractive conditions for its approximately 18,000 inhabitants with its rural and urban areas, hamlets, centres, and the historic village of Kyburg.
The municipal collection point serves the population for the disposal of waste and recyclable materials of all kinds and is located in the Vogelsang industrial quarter, a 10-minute walk from Effretikon station. Together with the team, you ensure the correct and safe operation of the collection point and the proper recycling of the various waste categories. To strengthen our team during absences, we are looking for an immediate or agreed start of a
- Assisting at the municipal collection point
- Attending to customers during opening hours
- Operating the cash register
- Ensuring general order and house rules
- Various cleaning and tidying tasks
- Have good physical condition; enjoy working outdoors
- Possess social skills (open, friendly demeanour, assertiveness, reliability, resilience, sense of responsibility)
- Bring manual dexterity
- Have a category B driving licence and ideally a forklift licence
- Can communicate and advise our customers in German
