Small nursery seeking a group leader with a big heart! Do you enjoy working outdoors, in a small daycare located in a charming former farmhouse yet close to the city?
The Joey Nursery Gockhausen is situated above Dübendorf at the city border to Zurich and is a dynamic, bilingual (German/English) nursery offering parents and their little ones a modern childcare facility. Our goal is to meet the needs of modern parents, emphasising progressive educational methods, wellbeing, healthy nutrition, comprehensive services, and a family-like team. The Joey Nursery is very well connected by public transport.
For our motivated and family-oriented team, we are looking for a sociable, natural, and pedagogically skilled colleague with heart as:
Group Leader - Childcare Specialist (80 to 100%) German | English or English | German
Your varied range of duties includes, among others:
- Building a personal relationship with each child
- Recording the developmental status of each child
- Targeted support in physical and psychological areas
- Creating a varied group life
- Maintaining warm contact with parents
- Co-creating and shaping a modern and innovative nursery
For this exciting position, you bring the following profile:
- Further training as a Childcare Specialist or in a similar field (KiTaS or ENIC recognised)
- Native German or English speaker, combined with knowledge of German or English
- Reliability and loyalty
- Communication and organisational talent
- Team-oriented, flexible, and cheerful nature
- Good MS Office skills and initial experience in administration
