As an industrial electrician, you are a very important part of our team and essential for the smooth running of railway traffic. Because thanks to you, our trains can run and our passengers arrive safely and quickly at their destination.

From 16 August 2027, we are looking for you for the 2-year training as an industrial electrician (m/f/d) for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH at the Bad Kleinen location. The vocational school and the training workshop are located in Rostock.

This is what awaits you in your training:

• You will become a professional in the new installation and modernisation of our electrical energy systems
• Installation of technical systems, e.g. control cabinets, switch heating, lighting and smoke detection systems
• Learning basics such as the relationship between voltage and current as well as electrical fundamental quantities and equipment
• Installation and wiring of switching, control and measuring devices
• You will learn how to expertly evaluate technical documents
• Accident prevention regulations and occupational safety

Your profile:

• You have (soon) successfully completed school and your school leaving certificate is recognised in Germany
• Your German language skills correspond to at least the B2 level
• Different workplaces and working hours as well as night shifts are a welcome change for you
• You have manual skills and enjoy tinkering in your free time
• You are particularly good at maths and physics
• You enjoy working outdoors, on our machines and in a team
