About us:
As a strong social partner of the public service within the municipality of Olten, the core task of the social region is to stabilise and support people in vulnerable life situations individually and situationally, respecting and incorporating the current legal framework. The goal is to ensure existential security and enable our clients to live a self-determined life. Under public mandate, we provide professionally qualified services in the areas of statutory social assistance, asylum, and child and adult protection. We continuously develop our services in close cooperation and coordination with our clients. As a competent and reliable partner, we provide our services for the municipalities of Olten, Trimbach, Winznau, Wisen, Hauenstein-Ifenthal, as well as for the adult protection authority [KESB] Olten-Gösgen.

Tasks
- Management of the Social Administration department of the Olten social region with a focus on financial management of the Social Directorate and application support
- Accounting of the Social Directorate according to HRM2
- Budgeting and financial planning
- Leadership of the team leaders of the AHV branch office, accounting, and the secretariat
- Member of the management of the social region
- Deputising for the management in administrative matters
- Responsibility for the operational organisation of the entire directorate
- Benchmarking, evaluations, statistics
- Quality management (IKS, management manual, BFS)
Expectations
- Financial and accounting specialist with business management knowledge
- Leadership training with leadership experience
- Knowledge of the social security system desirable
