Enterprise Architect for Digital Tax Solutions 100%Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! The cantonal tax office, together with the municipal tax offices, collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the location in Zurich Altstetten.
With the project "Gemeinsame IT 2032" the cantonal tax office is creating a modern and uniform IT landscape for the tax system of the canton and the 160 municipalities. This requires exceptional minds for the design and implementation of these important IT transformations. As an Enterprise Architect with a focus on IT architecture, you will take on tasks of lasting significance for the canton of Zurich in this newly created position. Our services support over 2,500 municipal and cantonal employees daily as well as over one million private individuals and companies annually with tax declarations.
Your tasks
- In this key position, you are jointly responsible with the business architect for the enterprise-wide architecture of the tax office and ensure alignment between business and IT.
- In addition to your work on the "Gemeinsame IT 2032" project, you take on the design and implementation of the IT architecture for the approximately 90 specialist applications currently operated in various data centres.
- You shape our architecture processes, develop concrete target architectures, and ensure the long-term continuity of the architecture.
- You convey architectural topics to your colleagues methodically and practically.
- You communicate with various departments within the tax office and at different levels up to senior management.
Your profile
- You have several years of experience as an enterprise architect with a focus on IT; ideally applying the TOGAF® framework.
- You hold a university degree in computer science, management, business administration, or a comparable field.
- You know how to transfer complex issues in a structured and systematic way into practical solutions.
- Your initiative, service orientation, and confident German language skills in spoken and written form complete your profile.
