YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Development, implementation and continuous improvement of the company’s environmental strategy
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental laws, regulations and internal standards
- Maintenance and further development of the environmental management system (e.g. ISO 14001)
- Planning and implementation of measures to reduce environmental impacts and improve sustainability performance
- Conducting environmental analyses, audits and risk assessments
- Collection, evaluation and reporting of environmental indicators (energy, emissions, waste, water, etc.)
- Supporting projects regarding environmental and sustainability requirements
- Contact person for authorities, certification bodies and internal stakeholders
- Raising awareness and training of managers and employees on environmental and sustainability topics
- Participation in ESG, sustainability and decarbonisation projects
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed studies in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, sustainability management or comparable education
- Professional experience in environmental management within an industrial, production or service company
- Sound knowledge of relevant environmental legislation as well as ISO 14001 standards and ideally ISO 50001
- Experience in project management and implementation of improvement measures
- Analytical and structured working style as well as strong sense of responsibility
- Communicative personality with assertiveness
- Independent, solution-oriented and pragmatic working style
- Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
- Confident use of MS Office and experience with environmental and reporting tools is an advantage

Become part of our team! Our competence centre for bogies is located in Winterthur, while our site in Biel includes a steel foundry. Both locations are strategically important parts of the Components Division and contribute decisively to the production of our high-quality rail vehicles.
