Your Tasks
- Overall responsibility for the gastronomy area
- Planning, designing and further developing a seasonal, balanced and high-quality catering offer
- Ensuring smooth service operations in the restaurant as well as in the care departments
- Leadership, deployment planning, training and development of the gastronomy team including apprentices
- Menu planning, costing as well as design of the à la carte and wine list
- Planning and organizing events, banquets and celebrations for up to 150 people
- Responsibility for inventory management, purchasing, stock management and cost control
Compliance with and monitoring of food legislation as well as hygiene and quality standards - Participation in budget preparation, investment planning and further development of the gastronomy concept
- Close cooperation with management and interdisciplinary departments
What You Bring
- Completed training as a restaurant specialist EFZ
- G1 certificate GastroSuisse (innkeeper's license)
- Further training as a federally certified chef or federally certified kitchen manager
- Advantage: training as a diet cook
- Several years of leadership experience (3–5 years) in a comparable position
- Experience in an establishment with refined service, ideally in the hotel industry
- High service orientation, organizational strength and economic thinking
- Confident handling of PC applications
- Diplomatic, discreet demeanor and a good sense for elderly people
- Resilient, flexible and motivating leadership personality
