About the job
What you can achieve
- You provide clinical care to patients at the University Hospital who are treated as inpatients and suffer from a substance use disorder
- You advise and support interprofessional treatment teams on topics such as substance use, opioid agonist therapy, as-needed medication, and adherence to the treatment plan – together with an experienced APN nursing expert
- You promote a person-centered, evidence-based practice and strengthen a consumption-accepting attitude within the treatment team as well as the implementation of the harm reduction concept
- You contribute your expertise to internal hospital as well as national and international specialist and working groups and engage in teaching as a lecturer and speaker
What you bring with you
- Master of Science in Nursing (or an equivalent qualification), ideally already completed, in training for it, or willing to acquire it promptly, as well as solid practical experience and theoretical knowledge in working with people with substance dependence
- Proactive, communicative personality with the ability to confidently and independently navigate interdisciplinary and interprofessional environments, inspire others for the further development of nursing practice, and high social competence
- Goal- and solution-oriented thinking and acting, pronounced counseling and leadership skills, as well as resilience and flexibility
- Very good German skills (C1) as well as good knowledge of French and English are an advantage
