Construction Manager Building Construction (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 110,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced individual as Construction Manager Building Construction for the independent realisation of demanding construction projects in the Zurich Lake region. You will take on the local site management and ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant execution from tendering to handover. You will be responsible for cost estimation, scheduling, and cost control and coordinate contractors, specialist planners, and other project participants. In close collaboration with architecture and the client, you will ensure that design and technical requirements are implemented economically and professionally.
Responsibilities:
Independent assumption of local site management for demanding building construction projects
Coordination and leadership of contractors, trades, and suppliers during the realisation phase
Preparation of cost estimates and specifications as well as conducting tenders and offer comparisons
Participation in submission, awarding, and contract management as well as preparation of the corresponding decision-making documents
Creation and ongoing monitoring of schedules, construction progress, and contractor programmes
Responsibility for cost control including measurement, change management, and invoice verification
Conducting regular quality and execution inspections on site
Ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, quality, and economic efficiency
Leading construction meetings and coordinating interfaces between architecture, specialist planning, client, and execution
Application of relevant SIA standards, NPK, and BKP/eBKP structures in project management
Organisation of acceptances, commissioning, and defect rectifications until successful project completion
Digital handling of construction administration and cost management with Messerli BAUAD or comparable construction software
Qualifications:
Training as a certified construction manager, HF technician in construction planning, draftsman EFZ specialising in architecture with further training or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in local site management in Swiss building construction
Sound knowledge in cost estimation, tendering, scheduling, cost control, and contract management
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards, NPK, and Swiss construction practice
Confident handling of Messerli BAUAD or comparable construction administration and cost planning software
Experience in the realisation of architecturally and technically demanding construction projects
Very good German language skills spoken and written
