The Charterhouse Ittingen – a former monastery – is today one of the leading seminar and cultural centers in Switzerland. Our guests have at their disposal a hotel with 68 rooms (3 stars Superior), a restaurant, a bar in the former ox stable, various event locations with around 1,000 seats, and 22 seminar rooms with up to 450 seats. In a unique historical setting, we offer an incomparable framework for diverse social and cultural occasions. In addition to the hospitality business, the Charterhouse Ittingen operates an estate with viticulture, a butcher's shop, fish farming, a nursery, and a cheese dairy, as well as a home and workshop for supervised employees. We are a leading company in terms of sustainability; our efforts have been awarded the ibex fairstay Label Platinum.
Entry is by appointment.
You are the first point of contact for many concerns of our guests, shape the first positive impression, and advise competently, personally, and effectively in correspondence and on the phone. You work independently in a highly professional, guest-oriented, and motivated team. If interested, occasional insights into our reservation department and special events in F&B are also possible. The internship lasts from May to October 2025 or longer/by arrangement.
With this internship position, we are looking for an open and warm personality who loves direct guest contact and wants to expand their practical experience in one of the most versatile hotel operations in Switzerland.
Do you also master flawless German and English in spoken and written form and are you used to working precisely? Then we look forward to getting to know you.
You can expect extremely varied and exciting tasks in a great working atmosphere. Rooms for employees are available if needed.
We pay internship salaries between CHF 2,385.– and CHF 3,000.– depending on experience and commitment.
