The Vista Eye Practices & Clinics are the largest provider of ophthalmology in Switzerland with around 35 locations and approximately 500 employees. Your tasks

• Independently conducting optometric preliminary examinations for excimer treatments, phakic lens implants, and cataract/CLE operations
• Informing and advising patients according to the latest knowledge in the field of special lenses (IOL/MIOL/ICL) and excimer treatments
• Further development of the co-payment and special lenses area within the Vista group as well as optimisation of processes in the biometry area
• Overall professional responsibility for IOL and optometry as well as central contact person for employees and external partners such as referring doctors, manufacturers, and suppliers
• Design and implementation of training including lecturing activities for medical and non-medical staff in the areas of IOL and biometry with a focus on competent patient advice
• Testing and evaluation of new products in the field of special lenses
• Travel activity in the German-speaking part of Switzerland amounting to 40-60%

Your profile

• Advanced professional training in optometry or ophthalmic optics
• Sound knowledge in optometry, physical and medical optics as well as in-depth expertise in the field of special lenses / premium IOL
• Strong competence in patient-oriented and needs-based advice as well as experience in conveying complex medical content
• Experience in designing and conducting training and advisory sessions as well as enthusiasm for enabling and developing employees
• Communicative, empathetic, and convincing personality with high initiative, sense of responsibility, and confident appearance
• Very good German skills and good English skills; Italian is an advantage
