About the job
The EFAJE is a network that brings together 31 municipalities from the Gros-de-Vaud district and surrounding areas wishing to unite their efforts to manage and develop quality day care services in order to better meet the needs of their citizens. To date, three sectors are represented: Family Day Care, which includes around seventy family-based carers, nine preschool facilities, and nineteen after-school facilities. As part of a maternity leave replacement, we are looking, for a fixed term, for a:
Childcare Educator or Socio-Educational Assistant at 55%
The position is located at the Garderie de l’Etang in Etagnières, a facility with a capacity of 64 places. The position is to be filled within the nursery group.
Your duties:
- Provide quality support to the children cared for, ensuring their well-being and safety in accordance with the institutional project and current regulations.
- Identify quality-related issues based on your theoretical knowledge. Propose courses of action and implement them in the child’s best interest.
- Foster a quality relationship and exchanges with families and external services.
Your profile:
Your ability to work as part of a team and adapt, your interpersonal skills, as well as your professional awareness, make you a real asset to the team. A kind and patient personality, you have the ability to carry out relevant actions independently and with commitment. You are organised and responsible.
Holder of a tertiary ES/HES diploma or equivalent, or a secondary diploma (CFC), you have Swiss nationality or a valid residence permit, as well as a clean criminal record.
